About this van
The BoxLife 630 is Knaus's clever panel-van conversion on the Fiat Ducato: parks like a van, lives like a motorhome. Up front, the cab seats swivel to make a proper lounge around the dinette table, and a full-size drop-down double lowers over the cab, so the van genuinely sleeps four. The kitchen runs a two-burner gas hob, a big 90-litre fridge with freezer at eye level and deep soft-close drawers. Behind it there's a real bathroom: hot shower, basin and a cassette toilet. At the back is the 630's party piece, a huge two-metre-long fixed double (200 x 180cm) with windows on three sides and storage beneath. Diesel-independent heating and hot water (Truma Combi 6), a 110-litre fresh water tank and a leisure battery with LED lighting throughout keep you warm and comfortable off-grid, any month of the year. It drives on a standard car licence.

Deposit & excess, in plain English
Before collection we take a refundable security deposit of £750 by card, the same figure as the insurance excess. Clean van back, full deposit back, normally within 3 working days. Some driving-record endorsements raise the excess (we'll confirm yours during document checks, before your balance is due). No deductions without photographic evidence; we film the van's condition together at collection and return.
Common questions
How does the security deposit work?
We take a refundable security deposit by card before collection: £750 for most drivers, matching the insurance excess. It's returned in full after the van comes back clean and undamaged, normally within 3 working days of inspection. If a driver's record carries an insurance loading, the deposit follows the adjusted excess and we'll tell you the exact figure before you pay your balance.
Is there a mileage limit?
No. Miles are unlimited, with no per-mile charge, ever. Drive the NC500, the Welsh coast or wherever the week takes you; the price you booked is the price you pay.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes. Most of our campers are dog-friendly at no extra charge. Just tell us when you book and bring their bed. No pet fee, no cleaning surcharge; it's all in the one price.
